In this episode we give a low down of all the updates of Pokemon Go App from version 1.1.0 / 1.1.1 and build 0.31.0 /0.31.1 (iOS/Andriod respectively) that remove the footprint due to the three step glitch and battery saver mode from iOS devices. Other changes include the battle damage counter balancing, avatar customization feature, updated font/styles, and relocating of the transfer button (which i forgot to mention in video). As I was writing this, Niantic released a statement (Pokemon Go Facebook) on their decision to remove the Footprints as well as their thoughts on websites like PokeVision. Link to everything I talk about below. We still went out to the park to grind up some Magikarp so I hope to get that famous Gyarados very soon!

I’m sick of Niantic doing nothing but making Pokemon Go worse and worse every day and not even bothering to communicate with the community. All they do is take our money through in-app purchases, and do nothing to make the game better. They even had the audacity to ban web sites like PokeVision.com. We now have no way to track Pokemon at all. From 1-2-3 steps, to 3 step glitch, to completely removing the steps. The game is dead to me.

Developer Niantic Labs has published a blog post explaining why it shut down various Pokémon Go tracking sites. It says that shutting down PokeVision helped free up resources to launch the game in new territories.
